The Kubacki family comes to the Xingu Mission from the Vineyard Church of Delaware County, in Sunbury, Ohio. Tim, Betsy, and their four children, Luke, Ellie, Ben, and Meredith spent two months with the mission in Altamira in 2005, and have now moved here permanently. The Kubacki's have recently relocated to Porto de Moz.

Tim, who is a physician, is hoping to serve the people of the Xingu Region by meeting health care needs, as well as communicating God’s affection for them. While Betsy home schools their children, she also hopes to serve in other capacities with the mission and local church.
