Josh and Brin

Josh and Brin Pflederer joined the Xingu Mission in November of 2006.  They have been living and serving in Altamira, along with their 3 girls Gabriella, (6/7/98), Ava (5/23/02) and Mia (3/8/04), since moving  from central Illinois. 

Prior to moving to Brazil Josh was a youth pastor at their home church, Northfield Christian Fellowship. With Xingu Mission his main responsibilities have been maintenance of the boats for the Altamira Base and participating in church planting through the Central church.  He is also involved in helping the Central youth group in planning and leading special events. 

Brin is a RN and often finds ways to apply her skills both in Altamira and on trips to the interior.  Brin’s main responsibilities are homeschooling their daughters and helping with a ministry to abandoned children with the Central church.  She also leads discussion groups through CDR in a ministry called Alpha Circles.
