XINGU MISSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for your interest in the Xingu Mission! The following Q&A explains our contribution process, and how you can make a donation to a missionary or project of Xingu Mission. Please read all of the questions and answers to gain a complete understanding.

How can I make a contribution to the Xingu Mission?

You may contribute online using a credit or debit card. You may use your bank’s bill payment service. You may also contribute through the mail.

HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE ONLINE?

U.S Donors:

If you live in the U.S., you may use your credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) to make a donation online.

  1. Go to www.xingu.org.
  2. At the top of the web page, select OPPORTUNITIES; then select GIVING.
  3. Choose the ministry to which you want to contribute; you will be transferred to that ministry’s donation page.
  4. Select DONATE (US).
  5. Fill in all the fields on the next page; press DONATE at the bottom of the page. Your donation is complete; you will see a Thank You message.
  6. If you elected to make monthly contributions, your card will be automatically charged each month until you cancel.

Can I use my financial institution’s online bill payment service?

Generally, you can use the bill payment service of your financial institution. Xingu Mission does not accept electronic transfers from banks at this time. However, many banks will issue a check to pay vendors who don’t accept electronic transfers.

  1. Use the “memo” or “account” field of your financial institution’s online bill payment form to indicate which Xingu Mission ministry you wish to support.
  2. Payment should be to Xingu Mission in USA.
  3. Use the appropriate billing address below:

How do I contribute by mail?

To make contributions by mail:

  1. Print and complete the Xingu Mission contribution card (found on each ministry’s web page – click the envelope icon).
  2. Make your check payable to The Xingu Mission in USA.
  3. If you do not have a copy of our contribution card, simply write the ministry name in the memo field of your check.
  4. Mail the check using one of the above addresses.

AFTER YOUR CONTRIBUTION…

Will I receive a statement?

U.S. donors will receive a contribution statement each time a donation is received, as well as an annual contribution statement for tax preparation purposes. If we have an email address for you, your statements will be sent via email to save postage expense.

Canadian donors will receive an annual statement in January.

HOW WILL MY CONTRIBUTION(S) BE USED?

The Xingu Mission’s policy is to honor all restrictions placed on donations by donors. However, if more funds are received for a particular project or missionary’s support than are needed, the Mission reserves the option of transferring the excess to the general fund to use where needed most.
