Hello
Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. They are working. Please keep them up, we are very grateful. Be blessed with the below update.
Our time back in the States has been very good, and it has been great to see family and friends we have known for many years, as well as to meet new ones. However, if you can turn up the heat, we would be very grateful. DANG! IT IS COLD!!! We leave for Brazil on the 31st of January to get our feet on the ground and thaw out. Below are some pictures of our time in the USA and Canada.
We got to share at Vineyard Cleveland, pastored by Eben and Sarah Brusco. It was great to share what has been happening in Brazil and to see some of the team members who came down to minister alongside us in 2024. They plan to bring in a team in 2026, and we met the team coming. It will be great to have them down again.
We got the opportunity to go to Canada and spend time with the Bergen family. We were also treated to a big bonus: seeing their expanded family, including Ross and Karin Hansen and their family, who were long-term missionaries in Brazil. Plus, Chris and Jane, who served in Brazil. Afterwards, we were blessed to go to Oregon and get to spend a few days with Steve and Midge Shaw.

When we got back, we were invited to participate in an all-Brazilian Worship night at Covington Vineyard Church. They have a thriving community, and it was nice to meet some new friends. To be honest, we were surprised to find so many Brazilians living near Covington.

Elba then preached at Vina church at Vineyard Columbus. She taught on faith that grows in tough times. It was received well.

Then we shared at Vineyard Grandview about our financial needs and spent time with friends who had come to Brazil.

Last week, Elba preached at Vineyard Community church pastored by Chip and Kim Richardson. Again, it was great to spend time with the church and thank them for their amazing support throughout the years for the water filter project.

It has also been so nice to be back with our family during the holiday season. It has been a long time since we have been here for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The family got together to celebrate Alyssa’s high school graduation. Alyssa has already started bible school, and so far, she loves it. We are very proud parents, but difficult to drop her off at college. UGH! Camilly just finished her quarter at college, and she is getting a little time off. Camilly is in Altamira visiting family.

We will be sharing a little bit at Vineyard Sawmill this Sunday, January 18th, and at Vineyard Columbus on the 25th of January.
