The home church continues to grow each week, which is a blessing, and we feel honored that the Lord is leading people to come.  It is incredible, and getting to know our neighbors more has been a joy.  We usually start the group with worship to God, then preaching the Word, praying for each other or as a group, and then sharing a meal.  We begin at 6 pm, and people will stay until around 10 pm.  Usually, we end the service around 7:30.  I would have thought that people would eat quickly and then head out the door to go home.  But that has not been the case.  Instead, they like to hang out with each other to talk and play games.  It has been a great experience. 

Elba is in Recife, located in the Northeast of Brazil, doing some training as a part of her responsibility as a regional leader.  The Recife church has been around for a long time but has been going through many trials and tribulations within the church and leadership transition.  Elba went there to encourage and teach them and hopefully get them reoriented. 

Here is the water at our house….gross!  We have to clean out the filter every week.  I have been having stomach issues due to the water.  I try my best to drink bottled water, but occasionally this sneaks in and messes with my stomach. 

Look who turned 18 on April 18^th.  WOW!  Where has all the time gone?  We are very proud of Camilly and look forward to seeing how the Lord will use her.  We all dressed up for her birthday and went out for dinner.  Camilly was surprised when Elba’s sister Nira visited with her daughter Apolana and grandchild Thomas.  Camilly is passionate about Thomas and loves to be with him.  Thomas coming was a great birthday gift.
