Hello
We pray that you are blessed with the below update. Please keep us in your prayers.
I wrote last month that we started “The Real Jesus” home group series. We prepared videos and asked our members to invite their families, friends, and neighbors to watch them. Then, we went through a short questionnaire after the video. All the groups did well, and some will continue to meet. That is an excellent result for us to expand our home groups.

The only group that did not do well was ours. Our group fell apart around videos 3 & 4. The good thing is that in the last 3 months, we had two small groups leave our group to start their groups. I hope that is not saying something personal. SMILE! We are happy for them, and multiplication is one of our goals.
We still have two couples, and we talked about how to gather people in our neighborhood. We are considering returning the night to Saturday as more people are available. Please keep us in your prayers as we start to form a new group again.
When we lived in Altamira, we did a social awareness program for children called “Safe Touch.” Safe Touch focuses on teaching children how to protect themselves from sexual child abuse. Alyssa, with the two girls below, performed a dramatic skit about their friend being abused and how to help protect her. It is our great hope that teaching these children some principles about what is safe and general safety tips will help prevent these children from being abused. Also, if abuse is happening, it gives the child the courage to tell someone in authority so that they can be helped and protected. We usually do these events at a local school, but since we are still the new kids on the block, we invited our neighbors to come and participate at the church. We like the photo of the boys earnestly praying.

Camilly and Alyssa are doing well. Camilly is trudging daily, driving through the extreme traffic to go to college. She is doing well, and her workload is getting more intense. Alyssa is in her Senior year and would like to come to the States in January 2026 to take a few courses at a bible college near Columbus. We are in the process of working out the details and are excited about her going to participate. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

We thank you and appreciate your continued prayers:
Please pray for our family.
Please pray for our spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and financial health.
Please pray that we can find permanent land/buildings in Belem.
Much love, Steve, Elba, Camilly, and Alyssa
