A “Good Problem” to Have: Growing Beyond Our Walls!
We often talk about the challenges of the mission field, but today, we want to share a “good problem”; a challenge created by answered prayer and immense grace.
Both the churches in Belém and Macapá are at capacity. What started as small gatherings in houses has grown into vibrant communities. Classroom space for children is even more critical in both locations. Both locations are in rented buildings, so adding on to the existing building is not an option.
The need for larger spaces is a testament to the powerful, expanding impact of the Gospel in Brazil, to which you have been a part through your support and prayers.
Belém has identified a building that would accommodate their growing congregation and children’s ministry, as well as a dedicated space for outreach and a training center in the north.

For so many years, we have worked in interior regions of northern Brazil where costs for buildings or land for building have been significantly lower. Now that we have reached larger city centers, the financial need has significantly increased. However, we know that God provides. He has led these works to larger areas where the potential impact is greater.

With great excitement and overwhelmed by God’s grace, we share that our mission has helped make the first indigenous-led South American conference a reality. This is a historic milestone for our ministries and our partners in the region. The conference will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, and is set to be a transformative gathering with attendees and speakers from around South America as well as the UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, and Belgium. We hope this conference will catalyze a new wave of church planting and discipleship across South America.
