Amazon Update! Bless you!!!!

Hello

We are so grateful for all your prayers and support.  Please keep them up!  Be blessed with the below update.

Thank you so much for praying for our time in Europe during the UK/Ireland Vineyard National Conference.  The Spirit of God is truly on the move in the UK, and it was an incredible privilege to witness what God is doing there.  Elba preached nine times throughout the week.  Because so many people wanted to participate, the organizers held two conferences in the same week.  The first gathering had around 1,000 people, and the second had approximately 900.

One of the most encouraging things we heard repeatedly was what many are calling a “Silent Revival” in the UK.  Across the nation, there is a growing spiritual hunger, especially among young people.  Bible sales in the UK have reached record highs in recent years, with many bookstores reporting that young adults — many with little or no church background — are searching for truth, meaning, and spirituality.

Church leaders shared story after story of people coming to church after having dreams, visions, or powerful encounters with God.  In several churches, there has been a noticeable increase in young adults attending prayer meetings, worship nights, and Bible studies.  Even in a culture that has become increasingly secular over the years, many pastors believe God is awakening a new generation that is hungry for authenticity, hope, and the presence of Jesus.

At the conferences, it was deeply moving to see the passion people had to worship Jesus.  The worship was wholehearted, the prayer ministry was powerful, and many young people were responding openly to the Gospel.  There was a genuine expectancy that God is doing something fresh in this generation.

We returned encouraged, hopeful, and deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and witness firsthand what God is doing.

We returned back to Brazil with our feet on the ground, and the church had an event called “Safe Touch” for the children.  Safe Touch focuses on teaching children how to protect themselves from sexual child abuse.  It is our great hope that teaching these children some principles about what is safe and general safety tips will help prevent them from being abused.  Also, if abuse is happening, it gives the child the courage to tell someone in authority so that they can be helped and protected.  We had a large turnout from our church members to help with the project, teaching the children, and playing games with them.  They also helped prepare a meal and gave them daily hygiene products.

Camilly turned 21, and we got to celebrate before we left for Europe.  Alyssa played mud volleyball and participated 100%.  😊

PRAYER REQUEST:

Please pray for our church, leadership, and congregation that they may help people draw closer to God and reveal His plans for the church and for us.

Please pray for our family.

Please pray for our spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, and financial health.

Please pray that we can find permanent land and buildings in Belem.

Please pray for our South American conference from June 4th to the 6th.  This is the first time we have done a South American conference.

Much love, Steve, Elba, Camilly, and Alyssa
