Strengthening PartnershipsWe traveled to Portel, Pará, to participate in a conference hosted by a sister church. It was such a joyful time together. We had the opportunity to preach, lead a workshop, and encourage the pastors and ministry leaders. Beyond the conference sessions, it was a blessing to learn more about the church’s outreach ministry and see firsthand how they are serving and reaching their community with the love of Christ. They are doing fantastic work. One of the greatest highlights was listening to the pastors and encouraging them in the challenges they face personally and in ministry. These moments of fellowship, teaching, and mutual encouragement remind us of the value of partnership in ministry and the strength that comes from serving together. We are grateful for the warm welcome, the opportunity to serve, and the continued partnership with this sister church. May God continue to strengthen their leaders, bless their outreach efforts, and bear lasting fruit through their ministry! Pink October: Sharing Awareness, Hope, and PrayerAs part of Pink October, the month dedicated to breast cancer awareness, we had the opportunity to reach out to the neighborhood surrounding our church with a special outreach initiative. Our goal was to promote awareness and encourage women to take an active role in caring for their health. During the outreach, we distributed informational pamphlets explaining the steps of breast self-examination and encouraging women to be attentive to their health. The outreach also allowed us to connect with people, listen to their stories, and share God’s love. Throughout the outreach, we shared several meaningful moments by listening, connecting, and praying with people. We wanted each person to feel seen, valued, and encouraged, reminding them that they are deeply loved and precious in God’s eyes. It was an opportunity to combine practical care for our community with the hope and compassion of the Gospel. We are grateful for every conversation, every pamphlet shared, and every opportunity to pray. We believe that reaching our community means caring for the whole person, and we pray that these small acts of love will continue to open doors for meaningful relationships and opportunities to share Christ.
How You Can PrayPray for God’s direction and wisdom in every decision as the church plant grows. Pray for meaningful connections in the community, open hearts to the Gospel, and opportunities to show Christ’s love and impact lives for His Kingdom. Pray for faithful, gifted leaders to rise up and be equipped for ministry. Pray for God’s provision for all the church’s financial, practical, and ministry needs, as well as our personal needs. Blessings in Christ, Keith and Marsha Wilson Know someone who’d like to follow this journey? Forward this email and invite them to pray and partner with us.
